AirTAC has phased out the MAL series. The drop-in replacement is SAUD32X25 — same bore, stroke, output force, port and mounting, so it fits the same application. Simply order the SAUD32X25 in place of this model. The SAU replacement uses the same profile body, bore, stroke, force and SC-series mounting. It moves to the current CMSG / DMSG / EMSG sensor switches (the SU used CS1-B / DS1-B) and adds the SAUF valve-integrated option.

The AirTAC SUD32X25 is a double-acting, double-rod profile cylinder that is officially discontinued. The exact drop-in replacement is the SAUD32X25, matching the 32mm bore, 25mm stroke, 1/8" port, and FA/LB mounting. Because a rod exits both ends, the push and pull forces are equal both ways at 345N @0.5 MPa, 483N @0.7 MPa, and 621N @0.9 MPa. The extruded aluminium profile barrel is shorter than an ISO 15552 cylinder of the same bore.
With equal force both ways, the back rod can drive a second tool or carry a sensor cam while resisting rotation. This non-magnet SKU cannot take a switch (legacy CS1-B/DS1-B sensors were used on the -S version; the SAUD uses CMSG/DMSG/EMSG). For sizing, the safe working load is ~207N (60% of the 345N @0.5 figure), yielding a vertical lift capacity of ~18kg with a 2:1 margin. Note that air cushions only decelerate; use an external rod lock for load holding.
