This BSAID series excels over a stroke-end-only SAIL lock by gripping anywhere, but a plain SAID suffices if you only need end-of-travel stops. The dual-rod design allows mounting a workpiece on one end and a guide, counterweight, or position flag on the opposite end for dual-side anti-rotation guidance.
For safe operation, remember the clamp locks only after the cylinder stops and must be unlocked with balanced pressures. Safety-critical applications require an independent external measure. This configuration uses PT tapered ports (two 1/2 inch cylinder ports plus the G1/8 enclasp port), a robust 32mm carbon steel rod with an M27x2 thread for high side-load resistance, and accepts Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, or TCM2 mounts (omitting FB, CA, CB, CR).
