The 16 mm carbon steel rod with an M12x1.25 thread handles side loads well, but for this 160 mm stroke, external guidance is still recommended for heavy loads.
For replacements, confirm the double-rod configuration, 40 mm bore, 160 mm stroke, and PT threaded 1/4 cylinder ports plus the G1/8 unlock port. Mounting options omit FB, CA, CB, and CR brackets, supporting only Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, and TCM2. Since no magnet is specified, position sensing requires adding a -S option to use CMSE reed or DMSE electronic sensors.
