Conversely, lighter duties can use the 32 mm bore, which offers 600 N of holding force and 345 N of thrust. This model is preferred over a SAIL cylinder when the load must be frozen mid-stroke rather than only at the stroke ends. If no locking is needed at all, a plain SAID cylinder suffices.
As a drop-in replacement, verify the double-rod layout, 40 mm bore, 160 mm stroke, and PT tapered port threads. The operating pressure is 0.15-0.7 MPa. The -S magnet supports AirTAC CMSE reed and DMSE solid-state sensors. Mounting is limited to Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, and TCM2 (the double-rod design omits FB, CA, CB, and CR).
