For safe operation, remember the clamp locks only after the cylinder stops and must be unlocked with balanced pressures. Safety-critical applications require an additional independent safety measure. This configuration includes a magnet for CMSE reed and DMSE electronic sensors. The 20mm carbon steel rod with an M16x1.5 thread handles side loads well, but at 600mm of stroke, an external guide is strongly recommended to prevent rod binding.
