This clamp locks only AFTER the cylinder has stopped; it cannot brake a moving rod. You must unlock it with balanced pressures or the rod may jump abruptly. For safety-critical human loads, add an independent safety measure. Replacement specs: 80 mm bore, 200 mm stroke, PT tapered ports (3/8 cylinder, G1/8 enclasp), carbon steel rod, and an -S magnet for CMSE reed or DMSE solid-state sensors.
