The AirTAC BSE63X225 is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder with an integrated spring-applied, air-released rod lock. A collet clamps the Ø20 mm piston rod to deliver a 2200 N bidirectional static holding force. This fail-safe mechanism holds the load securely in both directions whenever air is exhausted or an E-stop trips.
Operating pressure is capped at 0.15-0.7 MPa, and the lock releases via a separate G1/8 port. The cylinder runs at 30-800 mm/s with 36 mm adjustable air cushions at both ends. This SKU has no magnet, so position sensing is not available. SE mounting accessories fit perfectly, except for FTC.
