The AirTAC BSE63X350 is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder featuring an integrated spring-applied, air-released rod lock. A collet clamps the Ø20 mm piston rod, delivering a 2200 N bidirectional static holding force with zero live air required. If air drops or an E-stop trips, the rod stays firmly held at its stopped position.
Operating pressure is capped at 0.7 MPa, and the lock unlocks via a separate G1/8 port at 0.15-0.7 MPa. The cylinder itself runs on a PT3/8 port and uses adjustable air cushions at both ends. This unit has no magnet (-S omitted), so it does not support CMSE or DMSE position sensors.
