Remember that this lock engages only after the cylinder has stopped moving; it is a static holding device, not a dynamic brake. For pneumatic plumbing, never use a fast-exhaust valve with this lock cylinder, as back-pressure on the locker side can accidentally release the pin. Instead, install an independent-exhaust solenoid valve. Given the 700mm stroke, mounting should carefully manage side loads by using a non-rotating guide or an appropriate ISO 15552 mounting accessory like FA or TC to prevent rod binding.
