Ensure the system uses an independent-exhaust solenoid valve, as fast-exhaust valves can create back-pressure on the locker side that inadvertently releases the lock. This is a static holding lock that engages after the cylinder stops, not a dynamic brake. For human-safety critical suspended loads, always add an independent mechanical safety measure.
