The AirTAC AirTAC 3V210-06 Solenoid Valve, 3V200 Series (3V21006NCAI) is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. A 3/2 valve either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, so it suits single-acting cylinders, air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty. We stock this code and confirm its published figures from the datasheet on request.
The 3V21006NCAI is a 3-port, 2-position solenoid valve in AirTAC's 3V210 series. In its resting state the outlet is closed: no air reaches the actuator until the coil is energised, and when power drops the valve vents the outlet to exhaust. That normally closed behaviour is the natural choice wherever a machine must go safe on power loss.
This SKU pairs the 1/8in port with an AC220V coil and flying leads, so the valve arrives pre-wired rather than needing a DIN socket on the panel. It is a genuine AirTAC part. Across the same 3V210 body AirTAC also offers a normally open version, five coil voltages, DIN plug entry, and 3V100M manifold bases for carrying several valves on one supply. Pressure range, flow and coil power are not published on this page; we will pull them from the datasheet for you on request.

|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| NC | Normally closed: no air at the outlet until the coil is energised. |
| AC220V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| I | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
A short puff of shop air clears dust and liquid from bottle necks ahead of the capper; the normally closed valve guarantees the nozzle stays shut whenever the line is stopped or power drops.
A spring-return clamp on a machining fixture must open the moment control power fails, so the NC 3/2 valve vents the clamp line and the spring retracts the plunger safely.
An air-piloted gate valve on a powder transfer line needs a small control signal; this 3/2 solenoid switches the pilot line between feed and vent from the plant's 220V AC control circuit.
Your coil voltage has to match the panel supply - an AC220V coil cannot be rewired down to 24V, so check the switching source before ordering. Flying leads (the I in the code) suit an install where the valve is wired straight to terminals or a connector block; if your panel uses pluggable DIN sockets, choose the same valve with DIN plug entry instead. The normally closed state here means the outlet is dead and vented whenever the coil is off - the fail-safe behaviour most single-acting clamping and blow circuits want.
On sizing: a 1/8in port steps up from M5 and down from 1/4in, and the right step depends on the actuator volume you are filling. Because flow figures for this 3V210 family are not in our hands, ask us to size the valve against your cylinder or nozzle before ordering. If you need a 3-port valve with published flow and coil power today, the documented AirTAC 3V2 and 3V3 bodies are the alternative; for a double-acting cylinder you need a 5-port 4V valve instead.
Confirm before you order
This page carries the decoded configuration - 3/2 function, NC state, 1/8in PT port, AC220V coil, flying-lead entry - but no performance figures. Pressure range, flow and coil power are all confirmed from the datasheet when you send an RFQ. If you need published numbers on the product page today, the AirTAC 3V2 and 3V3 3-port bodies have documented flow and coil-power figures.
No. A 3/2 valve has one outlet that is either fed or vented, which only suits single-acting (spring-return) cylinders, blow-off and piloting. A double-acting cylinder needs pressurised air to both sides alternately, so use a 5-port valve such as the AirTAC 4V series.
