A double-acting mini cylinder with a variable air cushion at both ends, MAC20X35SCA turns 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) of filtered air into 157 N of push at 0.5 MPa over its 35 mm stroke. The CA pivot back cover provides a ready-made pin joint, so a clevis or swing link bolts straight on without an extra bracket.
The riveted stainless round barrel and 8 mm hard-chrome plated rod cope with damp or washed-down surroundings far better than painted-steel minis. Needle screws at each end let you open the cushion fully on first run and trim it in gradually, and because 157 N is the full rating, a sensible plan is about 94 N of continuous work - enough for gates, clamps and small presses. Step down to a 16 mm bore (100.5 N push) for lower loads or up to a 25 mm bore (245.3 N) if the workpiece resists more. The CA pivot cover pairs naturally with a clevis; add LB foot or FA flange mounts where the body needs holding too.
Note that a plain MAC drifts once the air is removed - the cushion slows the piston but never locks it, so use a pilot check valve or rod lock for a held load. The built-in magnet is standard, so CMSG, DMSG or EMSG switches mount without a special piston.
