The AirTAC SUD50X55 is a double-acting, double-rod profile cylinder featuring a 50mm bore and a 55mm stroke. Because a rod exits both ends on a single piston, the push and pull force is equal both ways at 825N @0.5 MPa, 1154N @0.7 MPa, and 1484N @0.9 MPa. This SUD model is discontinued; the exact drop-in replacement is the SAUD50X55, which retains the identical profile body, 1/4 inch port, and FA/LB mounting. This non-magnetic SKU cannot take a switch.
The dual-rod architecture provides high anti-rotation stability and allows the back rod to drive a second tool simultaneously. Based on the 825N @0.5 MPa rating, the computed safe working load is roughly 495N, translating to a vertical lift capacity of about 42kg with a 2:1 margin. Note that the air cushion only decelerates the piston near stroke end; it does not hold loads on air loss, so an external rod lock is required for held loads.
