The AirTAC BSE63X150S is a double-acting single-rod ISO 15552 profile cylinder featuring an integrated spring-applied, air-released rod lock. A collet clamps the Ø20mm rod to deliver a 2200N bidirectional static holding force with zero live air required. Operating pressure is capped at 0.15-0.7 MPa.
This fail-safe mechanism prevents drift if air is exhausted or an E-stop trips. Unlocking requires 0.15-0.7 MPa supplied to the dedicated G1/8 release port. The -S magnet supports CMSE reed and DMSE electronic sensors for exact position feedback.
