The AirTAC BSE80X1000 is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder with an integrated spring-applied, air-released rod lock. It delivers a 3518 N push force at 0.7 MPa, while the collet lock provides a 3600 N bidirectional static holding force with zero live air. If air exhausts or an E-stop trips, the rod is held safely in place.
This unit runs at 0.15-0.7 MPa and unlocks via a separate G1/8 port. The lock is a holding device, not a dynamic brake: engage it only after the rod fully stops, balance pressures, and allow at least 0.5 s for release. This SKU lacks a magnet, so position sensing is not available.
