About the Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP20X10B
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the ASP20X10B uses air to extend its rod and an internal spring to retract it, so only one air line is needed. At the 20 mm bore it delivers 127.4 N of push at 0.5 MPa (190.2 N at 0.7 MPa), already net of the spring, and 0.2 MPa is the minimum pressure needed to overcome the spring. This model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ASE20X10, which keeps the same bore, stroke and force class.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit. In practice, plan on about 76 N of usable work at 0.5 MPa (roughly 6 kg held vertically with a 2:1 margin), and match that to your part weight before ordering. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the male rod thread (the B code) bolts straight to standard I/Y knuckles.
