The AirTAC Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP20X25S is a single acting, push (spring return) DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø20mm bore and 25mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ASE20X25S (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the ASP20X25S extends its 10 mm rod on air and retracts on the built-in spring, so one air line is all the plumbing a 20 mm bore machine needs. At 0.5 MPa the net push is 127.4 N (190.2 N at 0.7 MPa), already discounted for the spring, and 0.2 MPa is the minimum working pressure to overcome the spring. The short ISO 21287-class body cuts roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit.
This unit carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clipped on for end-of-stroke signalling. A rule of thumb for real work: budget about 76 N (roughly 7.7 kgf) of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 6 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note that the ASP series is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ASE20X25, so confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

If your clamping or ejecting load sits between those, this 20 mm bore at 127.4 N net is the match. Remember the spring drives the rod home on air loss, so it will not hold a mid-stroke position. Mounting brackets from the FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis family bolt straight on, and the -S magnet in this code lets CMSE / DMSE switches report stroke end. Order the ASE20X25 as the current replacement and verify ISO 21287 dimensions.
