The AirTAC Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP63X10SB is a single acting, push (spring return) DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø63mm bore and 10mm stroke, 1/8" air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ASE63X10SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the ASP63X10SB extends its 16 mm rod with air and retracts it by spring, so one air line is all the plumbing takes. At 0.5 MPa this 63 mm bore delivers 1420.5 N of push, already net of the return spring, rising to 2044 N at 0.7 MPa. The 10 mm stroke suits short clamp-and-release moves, and the spring drives the rod home whenever air is lost. Minimum working pressure is 0.2 MPa, needed to overcome the spring.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixture plates and guarded stations. For planning, treat roughly 852 N (about 0.6 of the rated push) as the usable force at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 72 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries a male-threaded S45C hard-chrome rod, and the S code means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE switches can report end positions. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production replacement is ASE63X10, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

At 0.5 MPa the 63 mm bore pushes 1420.5 N net of the spring. Step down to a 50 mm bore (875.5 N) for lighter clamps or up to an 80 mm bore (2316.2 N) when the part resists harder. Keep the working load near 852 N and expect about 72 kg of vertical lift capability at a 2:1 margin. The spring returns the rod to the retracted home position on air loss and will not hold a mid-stroke setting. This unit has the male rod thread (B) and the optional -S magnet fitted, so CMSE / DMSE switches bolt straight on; FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis mounts are available. Since ASP is discontinued, order ASE63X10 as the drop-in successor and verify the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions first.
