The AirTAC Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP25X15SB is a single acting, push (spring return) DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø25mm bore and 15mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ASE25X15SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the discontinued ASP25X15SB uses shop air to extend its 10 mm rod and an internal spring to pull it home - only one air line is needed, and 0.2 MPa is the minimum working pressure to beat the spring. At 0.5 MPa it delivers 210.1 N of push net of the spring (308.3 N at 0.7 MPa), so plan on roughly 126 N of real work once you keep a margin. The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot.
This 25 mm unit carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clipped on for end-of-stroke signals; models ordered without -S have no magnet at all. The male rod thread (B code) bolts to I/Y knuckles, and the fixed TPU bumper at each end simply decelerates the rod. Note the ASP family is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ASE25X15, which matches this bore, stroke and force class - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ASP was built to a DIN-standard footprint.

A CNC jig uses the male-thread rod and a clevis to swing a small clamp lid closed; the short body fits under the guard where a longer cylinder would not.
Size by force first: if 210.1 N at 0.5 MPa is marginal for your clamp or eject load, step up to the 32 mm bore (352.5 N at 0.5 MPa); if it is far more than needed, the 20 mm bore (127.4 N) saves air and space. Vertically, this cylinder lifts about 10 kg with a 2:1 margin (21 kgf raw at 0.5 MPa). Remember the spring drives the rod fully home on air loss - it will not hold a mid-stroke position. Choose FA/FB flange, LB foot or CA/CB clevis to match the fixture, keep the -S magnet if you need CMSE/DMSE switching, and order the ASE25X15 as the current replacement.

Order the ASE25X15, the current-production ISO 21287 successor: swap the P for an E and you get the same 25 mm bore, 15 mm stroke and force class in a matching short body. Confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions against your fixture before swapping, because the ASP followed a DIN-standard footprint, and re-order the -S magnet code if your CMSE or DMSE switches must keep working.
