The AirTAC Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP32X25SB is a single acting, push (spring return) DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø32mm bore and 25mm stroke, 1/8" air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ASE32X25SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
Single acting push cylinder with spring return: air extends the rod and the return spring retracts it, so the ASP32X25SB needs only one air line and sits normally retracted at rest. This 32 mm bore, 25 mm stroke unit delivers 352.5 N of push at 0.5 MPa and 513.4 N at 0.7 MPa, both already net of the spring, and it takes just 0.2 MPa (28-145 psi working band) to beat the spring and start the stroke. The S code in the model means the optional -S magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clipped straight onto the body for end-of-stroke signalling.
