The AirTAC Airtac B01-MAC Series Special Purpose Cylinder B01-MAC20X150SCM is a genuine double acting + cushion standard round-body mini air cylinder with a Ø0mm bore and 150mm stroke, PT/G air ports and a stainless-steel barrel with a hard-chrome-plated rod for reliable, mildly corrosion-resistant service. A variable air cushion at both ends lets you tune end-of-stroke deceleration on site.
A CM round-end back cover gives the MAC20X150SCM a smooth capped nose that seats into custom cradles and sheet-metal pockets where a lug or eyelet would snag. The 20 mm bore, 150 mm stroke body is double acting with a variable cushion at both ends: 157 N push and 131.9 N pull at 0.5 MPa, climbing to 219.8 N on 0.7 MPa supply. Ports are 1/8" and the working band is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi).
The riveted stainless barrel and hard-chromed 8 mm rod shrug off condensation, coolant mist and outdoor duty that flake paint off ordinary steel minis. Speeds span 30-800 mm/s, and because the cushion is adjustable you can hold the faster end without cracking covers at stroke bottom. For sizing, treat about 94 N as the practical push at 0.5 MPa - around an 8 kg vertical lift with a 2:1 margin.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC MA-series datasheet. Barrel: stainless-steel tube (round-body, riveted rolling-packed construction); piston rod: carbon steel with 20µm hard-chrome plating; covers: aluminium alloy. Thread options: PT (blank) / G / NPT. Every MA-series cylinder ships with a built-in magnet for CMSG / DMSG / EMSG position sensors.

| 0.7 MPa | 0 N | 0 N |
| Max (@1.0 MPa) | 0 kgf | |
Actual usable force is lower than theoretical due to friction and back-pressure. Size with a safety margin.
| MAC | Standard round-body mini cylinder (double-acting, variable cushion). |

| 0 | Bore size in mm. |
| ×150 | Stroke length in mm. |

MA-family variants: MA / MAC (double acting ±cushion), MSA / MTA (single acting push / pull), MAD / MACD (double rod ±cushion), MAJ / MACJ (adjustable stroke ±cushion), MAR (cushioned with integrated F/U mount). Mounting accessories: FA flange, LB foot, SDB pivot; plus I and Y knuckles. Thread PT (blank) / G / NPT.
Drives the pad of a benchtop labelling head onto cartons; the rounded CM cover seats in a machined holder and the magnet triggers a DMSG switch at stroke end.
Folds the last flap on a small cereal-box tucker at up to 800 mm/s, with the cushion easing the tuck so the board is not dented.
Clamps circuit boards into a wave-solder pallet with about 94 N of working force - firm enough for thin FR-4 without crushing the edge rails.
Choose this model when a pivot cover does not fit your bracket: the CM end presents a clean round face for fabricated saddles. Force-wise it is a step above the 16 mm bore (100.5 N push at 0.5 MPa) and below the 25 mm (245.3 N), so mid-weight jobs fit here. Note that a plain double-acting cylinder cannot park its load - air off means the rod creeps - so add a pilot check valve or rod lock for held positions. SDB pivot or FA flange brackets plus I and Y knuckles adapt the mounting, and the built-in magnet accepts CMSG, DMSG and EMSG switches out of the box. On the 150 mm stroke, guide any offset load; a side force on the 8 mm rod shortens seal life.
Quick checklist
On the 20 mm bore: 157 N push and 131.9 N pull at 0.5 MPa, 219.8 N push and 184.7 N pull at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 32.0 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Supply 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), fluid air filtered to 40 um.
The barrel is stainless steel rolled directly onto the aluminium covers, a one-piece sealed body, and the 8 mm rod carries 20 um of hard chrome. In humid, washdown or outdoor spots the barrel resists the corrosion that swells painted tubes, keeping the 30-800 mm/s speed band predictable.
