The AirTAC AirTAC 3V300M-12 3V-F Base (3V300M12F) is a genuine 3V-F manifold base manifold base for 12 stations on one shared air supply. A base is a machined block: it carries no coil and no solenoid, so the valves that sit on it are ordered separately.
A manifold base replaces a row of individually plumbed valves with one machined block. The AirTAC 3V300M12F provides twelve 3/2 valve stations that share a single air inlet, so a twelve-actuator machine needs one feed line and one wiring route rather than twelve. Every station still behaves as a 3/2 valve: it either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what single-acting cylinders, clamps and on/off air jobs require.
You are buying a genuine AirTAC base only - the 3/2 valves that sit on it are ordered separately. That lets you combine NC and NO valves, all five coil voltages and DIN plug or flying-lead entries on one block, and other station counts exist across the 3V-F range. Ask for the datasheet details of any valve you plan to mount and we will confirm them.

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Single-acting stopper and divert gates along a filling line can each take its own 3/2 valve on the shared base.
A bank of 3/2 valves fires the pusher or flap actuators that kick off-spec parts off the belt.
The same block can carry valves that connect a vacuum generator for the lift and vent the suction line to drop the part.
The case for a manifold is arithmetic: twelve valves mean twelve feeds and twelve wiring runs unless they share a base. Fit the 3/2 valves you need - NC where the outlet must stay dead on power loss, NO where the process must keep running - with the coil voltage matched to your control panel and the entry style matched to your wiring loom. Larger single-acting actuators want a larger port, so choose the valve port accordingly. Sizing against the actuator is the one thing we cannot confirm from the page: flow figures for this family are not published by us, so route that check through the RFQ. Buyers who need documented flow and coil power up front should look at the 3V2 and 3V3 bodies, and a double-acting cylinder belongs with the 4V series, not with any 3/2 valve.
Confirm before you order
That is exactly what the RFQ is for. Send the valve variants you plan to mount and we will confirm pressure, flow and coil power from the datasheet. If published figures must be on the table today, specify the AirTAC 3V2 or 3V3 bodies instead - they are the fully documented members of the 3-port range.
No. Every valve mounted on it is a 3/2 unit: it feeds one outlet or vents it, which is right for single-acting cylinders, clamps, blow-off and piloting larger valves. A double-acting cylinder needs air to both ports in alternation, and for that you should move to the AirTAC 4V five-port series.
