If your battery stacking mechanism requires less force, stepping down to a 50mm bore yields 825 N each way, whereas a larger 80mm bore provides 2268 N. For single-sided pushing where rear rod protrusion is a hazard, a standard single-rod AirTAC SC cylinder is a better fit. If the payload must remain fixed without continuous air pressure, note that the adjustable cushion only decelerates the piston and does not lock it; a mechanical lock or external brake is required for holding.
