Choose the GAR300 body when your line needs a 3/8in port and moderate air volume; step up to the GAR400 (570 g) for a 1/2in port, or down to the GAR200 (170 g) for 1/4in. The S type regulates 0.05-0.9 MPa, while an L type would cap at 0.4 MPa and cannot reach a 0.5 MPa setpoint. This unit keeps its circular gauge (MPa/psi scale) and the mounting bracket, and it carries a reverse-flow (reflux) valve. If the air also needs cleaning, fit a GAFR300 or a GAF filter upstream, since this regulator does not filter. The S type's 0.85 MPa adjustable band is about 2.4x the L type's 0.35 MPa span.
