The AirTAC AirTAC GF200-06 Filter (GF20006JW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT1/8" ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF series is an air filter only: it removes water and particulate from compressed air, with no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This GF20006JW is built at size 200 with 1/8 in. PT ports and the W option selects the finer 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um, for points of use where finer particulate matters downstream. It drains by differential pressure and is ordered without a mounting bracket (J). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size 200 bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF range covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in. to 1 in., with a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, bracket option, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads; at size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF200-06 Filter (GF20006JW) |

| Series | GF200 air filter |
| Port size | PT1/8" (PT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 5 µm |
| Drain type | Differential-pressure drain |
| Bracket | Supplied without bracket |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0.15 - 1.0 MPa (22 - 145 psi) |
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | PC |
| Feature | Low pressure loss |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF200 | G-series air filter, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A 5 um final filter at a paint line drop, cutting water and fine particulate before the air reaches finishing guns on a coating bench.
Polishing shop air feeding bench-top pneumatic apparatus in a teaching or QC laboratory, where the finer 5 um element suits sensitive downstream devices.
Protecting small positioners and pneumatic control devices on packaging machinery from condensate and fine particles at the point of use.
Size 200 with 1/8 in. PT ports is the smallest step of the G series for light point-of-use duties; step up to 300, 400 or 600 for larger ports and higher flow. The W suffix here specifies the 5 um element; the standard 40 um element is carried by codes without W. Drain is differential-pressure, with automatic (A) and manual (M) as alternatives, and J means no mounting bracket. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
Flow for the GF series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Give us your working pressure and demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and whether size 200 suits the application, on request.
Codes without W carry the 40 um standard element; W codes such as GF20006JW carry the finer 5 um option. Use 40 um for general protection of tools and cylinders, and 5 um where finer particulate matters downstream, such as spray finishing or instrumentation. We can help you decide against the application on request.
