The AirTAC AirTAC GF200-06 Filter (GF20006MJW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT1/8" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF20006MJW is an AirTAC G-series air filter that removes water and particulate from compressed air only - no regulation, no lubrication. This size 200 unit has a PT1/8 port, a fine 5 um filter element (the W option, versus the standard 40 um), and a manual drain you open by hand to empty condensate. The J suffix means no mounting bracket is supplied.
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GF family, available in 200/300/400/600 sizes with G (BSPP) or NPT thread options and automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating; we confirm datasheet figures for your application on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF200-06 Filter (GF20006MJW) |
|---|---|
| Series | GF200 air filter |
| Port size | PT1/8" (PT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 5 µm |
| Drain type | Manual drain |
| Bracket | Supplied without bracket |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0 - 0.9 MPa (0 - 131 psi) |
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | PC |

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF200 | G-series air filter, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fine pre-filtration on the air feed to a small pneumatic screwdriver or riveting station, keeping fine particles out of the tool motor.
Clean, filtered air to compact vacuum ejectors and mini cylinders on a small pick-and-place module, where fine grit shortens seal life.
Point-of-use polishing of shop air at an individual workbench drop, protecting hand-held air tools fed through a 1/8 in line.
Choose the 5 um W element over the standard 40 um when downstream equipment tolerates finer contamination, noting a finer element loads faster and needs more frequent manual draining. Size 200 with a 1/8 in port is the compact end of the G series; move to 300/400/600 for larger lines. Manual drain suits attended installations; pick automatic or differential-pressure drain otherwise. No bracket is included with this J variant - the blank-suffix version carries one.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options to order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated flow figure to quote: AirTAC publishes filter performance as flow curves across the pressure range. Tell us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the datasheet and flow curve for this model on request before you order.
W selects the 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard. That means finer particle removal downstream, at the cost of an element that clogs sooner - worth pairing with regular manual draining, which this M-code unit requires.
