The AirTAC AirTAC GF200-08 Filter (GF20008) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/4" ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF20008 is a G-series air filter that removes water and particulate from compressed air. It is filtration only - there is no pressure regulation and no lubrication in this unit. This size 200 configuration has a PT1/4 port (1/4 inch, PT thread as standard), a 40 um standard filter element, and the default differential-pressure drain, which bleeds accumulated condensate as flow passes through the bowl. The PC (polycarbonate) bowl suits general plant air and carries a mounting bracket as standard.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with progressively larger ports and flow capacity, plus options for automatic or manual drains, a 5 um fine element and G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Published flow data appears as curves rather than a single rating, so contact us and we will confirm the flow figures and full datasheet for your application on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF200-08 Filter (GF20008) |

| Port size | PT1/4" (PT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 40 µm |
| Drain type | Differential-pressure drain |

| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0.15 - 1.0 MPa (22 - 145 psi) |

| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | PC |
| Feature | Low pressure loss |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted at each machine tool drop leg to strip condensate and pipe-scale particles from the shop air supply before it reaches solenoid valves and cylinders on a milling or turning centre.
Used ahead of lab automation and analytical instruments that need water and particulate removed from the compressed air line, with the differential-pressure drain keeping the bowl clear during normal flow.
Installed on the branch feeding pneumatic assembly tools such as impact drivers and riveters in an assembly cell, protecting the tools from moisture and rust particles carried in the plant air.
Size 200 with a 1/4 inch PT port is the entry step of the G series; step up to sizes 300, 400 or 600 if your line needs larger ports and higher flow. The default 40 um element handles general air preparation; choose the W suffix for the 5 um fine grade if downstream equipment needs cleaner air. Drain options are the default differential-pressure drain, an automatic drain (suffix A) or a manual drain (suffix M). Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as ordered options, and a mounting bracket is included on this configuration.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so please ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GF20008 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no honest one-number rating to quote. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The GF20008 carries the default differential-pressure drain, which discharges condensate as air flows through the unit. If your line has low or intermittent flow, the automatic drain (A) or manual drain (M) versions of the same size 200, PT1/4 filter are the better choice.
