The AirTAC AirTAC GF200-08 Filter (GF20008M) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/4" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF20008M is a G-series air filter that removes water and particulate from compressed air. It is filtration only - no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This size 200 configuration has a PT1/4 port (1/4 inch, PT thread as standard), a 40 um standard filter element, and the M suffix manual drain, so condensate is emptied by hand. Because of the manual drain, the maximum inlet pressure for this configuration is 0.9 MPa. The PC (polycarbonate) bowl carries a mounting bracket as standard.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with differential-pressure and automatic drains, a 5 um fine element, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads as options. Published flow data appears as curves rather than a single rating, so contact us and we will confirm the flow figures and full datasheet on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF200-08 Filter (GF20008M) |

| Series | GF200 air filter |
| Port size | PT1/4" (PT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 40 µm |
| Drain type | Manual drain |
| Bracket | Mounting bracket included |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0 - 0.9 MPa (0 - 131 psi) |

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF200 | G-series air filter, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the air supply to conveyor gate cylinders and diverters in a warehouse line, with the manual drain emptied during planned shift maintenance stops.
Fitted at the head of a utility air ring main in a small fabrication shop, filtering moisture and debris from the compressor output before distribution to workstations.
Used on service-bay air outlets feeding inflation gauges and pneumatic jacks, with operators draining the bowl manually at the end of each shift.
Size 200 with a 1/4 inch PT port is the entry step of the G series; step up to sizes 300, 400 or 600 for larger ports and higher flow. The M suffix specifies the manual drain, which suits installations where an operator can bleed the bowl on a schedule - choose the default differential-pressure drain or the automatic drain (A) for unattended lines. Note the manual-drain inlet pressure limit of 0.9 MPa. The default element is 40 um; the W suffix gives a 5 um fine grade. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as ordered options, and a mounting bracket is included.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so please ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GF20008M as curves, not as a single rated number, so we cannot state a rated figure in good faith. Tell us your line conditions and we will confirm the flow figures and datasheet on request before you order.
The M suffix means condensate is emptied by hand from the bowl, which suits attended installations on a maintenance schedule; the default differential-pressure drain discharges automatically with flow, and the A suffix adds a fully automatic drain. Also note the manual-drain version's maximum inlet pressure is 0.9 MPa.
