The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-08 Filter (GF30008JW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT1/4" ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF30008JW is a G-series compressed-air filter with a single job: removing water and particulate. No regulation and no lubrication are built in. The W code selects the 5 um element - finer capture than the standard 40 um - while the blank drain position is the default differential-pressure type and the J code omits the mounting bracket. The 300 size with PT1/4 (PT thread) port suits 1/4-inch branch lines; the 300-size bowl is polycarbonate, so the condensate level is visible. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), temperature -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family spans 200 to 600 size with your choice of differential-pressure, manual or automatic drains, and G/NPT thread options beyond the PT standard. Flow data is published as curves rather than a single rated figure; we confirm datasheet and flow figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fine filtration at the tool crib manifold, keeping 5 um-level particles out of precision air tools and quick couplers used across a maintenance workshop.
Filtering air ahead of the compact valve manifolds and gripper cylinders on automated pick-and-place stations, where fine debris causes erratic valve seating on 1/4-inch circuits.
Cleaning the compressed air feeding spray heads and clamping cylinders in a sign-printing shop, where water spots and fine grit would spoil finished work.
Choose the W code when downstream equipment is sensitive to fine particles and the 40 um standard element is not enough - the trade-off is a 5 um element that loads faster and needs drain/bowl attention in wet lines. The differential-pressure drain is the default and suits steady production lines; use M or A where condensate loads or access differ. J keeps the unit bracket-free for in-line plumbing on 1/4-inch PT-threaded branches; step the 200/300/400/600 size ladder up or down against the port and air demand. Thread is PT as the standard, with G and NPT available to order. Flow appears only as curves, so ask us to confirm sizing from the datasheet before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC does not publish a single rated flow for this filter - flow is shown as curves in the datasheet. Share your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the applicable flow figures for your application on request.
Use W (5 um) when downstream valves, cylinders or processes are sensitive to fine particles. The blank code keeps the standard 40 um element, which suits general shop-air duty. Both elements fit the same GF300-08 body with the same PT1/4 port.
