The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300C08AJC2K Filter Regulator PT1/4 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08AJC2K is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 300 unit has a PT1/4 (1/4 in) port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without operator attention, the standard 40 um filter element, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a built-in check valve (code K) that holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply drops. No mounting bracket is included (code J). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 300 the bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options across the series include manual or differential-pressure drains, a finer 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and an optional bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to weld-gun clamping cylinders keeps clamp force consistent between welds, and the automatic drain handles condensate on a cell running unattended shifts.
Air to diverter and stopper cylinders on a bottling conveyor stays dry and at a set pressure so divert timing does not drift as the compressor cycles; the check valve holds the circuit if supply dips.
Pipetting and sample-transfer actuators on a lab automation line need clean, moisture-free air at a stable setting; the 40 um element and psi round gauge make set-and-check straightforward.
The main decodable choices are size and port: sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity, so match the size to the air demand of the circuit - we can check the published flow curves against your consumption before you order. Drain type is a real decision: automatic (this unit) suits unattended duty, manual suits periodic checks, and the differential-pressure default drains on a pressure drop. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) for finer protection. Gauges are embedded square as standard with an optional external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales; this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket is optional (this configuration omits it).
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your air consumption and working pressure and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
The A in the code specifies an automatic drain, which ejects condensate without operator attention - useful on unattended lines. Manual (M) and differential-pressure (blank) variants exist in the same series. Note the regulation range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for automatic and differential-pressure drains, 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) for manual.
