The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300C15MC2 Filter Regulator 1/2 in PT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C15MC2 is a GFR300 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration decodes to a 1/2 in PT port, a manual drain, the standard 40 um filter element, a round pressure gauge with a psi scale, a standard (not low-pressure) regulator, and the mounting bracket included. With the manual drain fitted, the regulating range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The 300-size bowl is PC (polycarbonate).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use filter regulator on the 1/2 in supply to a CNC machining cell: strips water and particulate from the compressed air and lets the setter dial in a stable regulated pressure for clamps and tool-change cylinders.
Mounted at the drop feeding pneumatic cylinders and diverters on a packaging conveyor line, keeping condensed water out of the valves while the operator sets line pressure on the psi gauge.
Installed as the filter-regulator stage ahead of a plant air ring main or a downstream lubricator, protecting valves and actuators across a production department from water and pipe scale.
Choose the size by port and required flow: this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in PT port; larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Drain type is a real choice - manual (as here, you drain the bowl by hand and the regulating range starts at 0.05 MPa), automatic, or differential-pressure (both of those start at 0.15 MPa). Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauge scale can be MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options, and the bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
Manual drain (code M) means the bowl is drained by hand, and the regulating range starts at 0.05 MPa (7-130 psi). The same GFR300 body can be ordered with an automatic drain or the differential-pressure drain, both with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range - useful where the unit is mounted out of easy reach.
