The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400C15MC2G Filter Regulator G1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MC2G is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration carries a G1/2 (BSPP) port, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain, and a fitted round gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator adjusts outlet pressure across 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature range of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds spray-gun stations on a vehicle paint line, where water and pipe-scale in the shop air must be stripped out and the gun supply held at a steady, operator-set pressure.
Supplies the pneumatic stopper and pusher cylinders along a bottling conveyor, giving one point of water removal and one pressure setting for the whole conveyor section.
Conditions the air feeding impact wrenches and grinders at a metal-fabrication workshop bench, keeping condensate out of the tools and the working pressure where the crew sets it.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) and their matching ports to suit the flow your line needs - this size 400 unit takes a 1/2 in port. Choose the drain to match maintenance practice: this unit is manual drain (drain by hand on a schedule), while automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other configurations. The 40 um element fitted here is the standard grade; specify code W for the 5 um option where finer filtration is required. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT are catalogue options - this unit carries the G thread.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.
This configuration is ordered with a manual drain: the bowl is drained by hand as part of a maintenance routine. The GFR400 is also available with an automatic drain or the differential-pressure drain (the default), and the drain choice affects the regulator's adjustment range - manual-drain units adjust from 0.05 MPa (7 psi), while automatic and differential-pressure units adjust from 0.15 MPa (20 psi), both up to 0.9 MPa (130 psi).
