Short stroke, quick cycling: with just 25 mm of travel, this MAC20X25SCA is built for small, fast movements such as part present, eject and confirm. The round body is a riveted stainless barrel with a hard-chromed 8 mm carbon-steel rod and aluminium covers rolled on for a leak-tight pack. It is double acting with a variable air cushion at both ends; at 0.5 MPa it pushes 157 N, and at full 800 mm/s speed the whole 25 mm crossing takes well under 0.1 s.
