Short travel, full-size muscle: the MAC63X30SCA moves just 30 mm but swings 1557.9 N of push and 1457.4 N of pull at 0.5 MPa (72 psi). This is AirTAC's round-body MA mini at its biggest bore, double acting with a variable air cushion at both ends - useful even on a short stroke, where a fast clamp can still hammer the covers. It runs on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) at 30-800 mm/s with 1/4" ports.
The CA pivot back cover makes it a natural fit for toggle clamps, swing arms and scissor linkages that rotate through the stroke. For jobs under 981 N push at 0.5 MPa, the 50 mm bore is the cheaper choice; this 63 mm model is the family ceiling. The 30 mm stroke is standard for the bore - anything up to 500 mm is, so no custom stroke fees. Because a centred valve leaves the rod free, add a rod lock or pilot check valve whenever the clamp must hold without air.
A 30 mm stroke keeps the 16 mm rod inherently stiff, so side load worries are minimal compared with long-stroke versions. If your linkage needs a fixed mount instead of the pivot, order the U flat-end or CM round-end cover, or add an FA flange, LB foot or SDB pivot bracket to the same body.
