Driven by an AC220V terminal-type coil consuming 3.5 VA, the unit responds in 0.05s and carries an IP65 rating. Because the valve operates at 0.15-0.8 MPa, this defines the practical working pressure for the assembled SAIF unit, even though the bare cylinder itself rates to 1.0 MPa.
In its factory setting, the piston rod retracts when the coil is energised, but you can reposition the valve to extend-when-energised if your logic requires it. When ordering replacements, confirm the 75mm stroke, the 4M310-08 valve port, the AC220V voltage, the terminal electrical entry, and the PT thread type. Note that this configuration does not include a magnet (-S), so it will not trigger reed or electronic sensors without modification.
Because the 5/2 valve only routes air and the end cushions merely decelerate the load near stroke end, this cylinder does not hold its position without live pressure. For true load-holding requirements, consider the SAIL lock variant instead.
