The AirTAC SC40X10 is a compact double-acting tie-rod cylinder delivering 628 N of push force at 0.5 MPa (1130 N at 0.9 MPa). With a 40 mm bore and a short 10 mm stroke, it is ideal for clamping, ejecting, and sorting tasks where space is tight and cycle speed is critical.
This model features a 16 mm diameter piston rod, PT1/4 ports, and a 21 mm adjustable air cushion to decelerate the piston smoothly. The total extended body length is approximately 152 mm (142 mm body length A + 10 mm stroke). Standard TPU seals provide a reliable operating range of -20 to +70 °C.

When replacing an existing cylinder, ensure a 5-point match: 40 mm bore, 10 mm stroke, PT1/4 port thread, basic (no) mounting accessory, and no built-in magnet. The SC is a tie-rod cylinder and is not dimensionally interchangeable with ISO 15552 profile cylinders.
