If your load requires slightly less force, consider stepping down to the SCD125 bore, which provides 5734 N at 0.5 MPa. For even higher force, the SCD200 bore offers 15080 N at the same pressure. Remember that a double-rod cylinder is chosen for equal speed and force in both directions, not for holding a load; if the position must be maintained without air pressure, an external rod lock or pilot-operated check valve is required.

At a 600 mm stroke, the unsupported rod length on each side can be significant. While the through-rod design offers better bearing support than a single-rod cylinder, it is not a substitute for a fully guided cylinder under substantial side loads. For direct replacement, match the 160 mm bore, 600 mm stroke, PT port thread, basic mounting style, and the integrated magnet (-S) sensor compatibility. The SCD series mounting accessories are limited to FA front flange, LB foot mount, and TC centre trunnion; no FB flange or CA/CB clevis mounts are available.
