AirTAC has phased out the MAL series. The drop-in replacement is SAUD100X175 — same bore, stroke, output force, port and mounting, so it fits the same application. Simply order the SAUD100X175 in place of this model. The SAU replacement uses the same profile body, bore, stroke, force and SC-series mounting. It moves to the current CMSG / DMSG / EMSG sensor switches (the SU used CS1-B / DS1-B) and adds the SAUF valve-integrated option.

The AirTAC SUD100X175 is a double-acting, double-rod profile cylinder that is officially discontinued. The direct drop-in replacement is the SAUD100X175, matching the 100mm bore, 175mm stroke, 1/2" port, and mounting. A rod exits both ends on one piston, meaning push and pull force are equal at 3681N @0.5 MPa, 5153N @0.7 MPa, and 6626N @0.9 MPa. The extruded aluminium barrel is shorter than an ISO 15552 cylinder of the same bore.
This configuration provides anti-rotation stability and lets the back rod drive a second tool. At 0.5 MPa, the safe working load is roughly 2209N (60% of force), yielding a vertical lift capacity of about 188kg with a 2:1 margin. Note this non-magnetic SKU cannot take a sensor. The air cushion only decelerates near stroke end; use an external rod lock for held loads.
