The AirTAC GFR300C08AC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in PT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08AC2 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 300-size unit is fitted with a 1/4 in PT port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, the standard 40 um filter element, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. As an automatic-drain unit, the regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature range of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The 300-size bowl is polycarbonate (PC), and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include a 5 um filter element (code W), manual or differential-pressure drain, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, alternative gauge scales, and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to workpiece clamps and fixtures on a machining centre, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the clamp cylinders between cycles.
Point-of-use air preparation for sealing jaws, pushers and diverters on a packaging conveyor, with the round psi gauge giving operators a local set-point reference.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to pneumatic valve actuators on a water or process skid, where stable downstream pressure protects positioner and actuator seals.
Choose the size and port step (200 through 600, 1/8 in to 1 in) against the air demand of the circuit, since larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow capacity. For this 300-size, 1/4 in PT unit, the remaining decodable choices are: drain type (automatic as fitted here, versus manual or differential-pressure), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W for finer filtration), gauge style and scale (round or square; MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard, with G/BSPP and NPT as order options), and bracket. Reverse/check valve is not fitted on this configuration.
Flow for GFR units is published as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet and correct sizing before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for GFR filter regulators as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve and check the sizing against your demand before you order.
The A in the code means the bowl drains collected condensate automatically instead of relying on manual draining - useful on unattended lines. On automatic-drain GFR units the regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi); manual-drain versions adjust from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
