The AirTAC GFR300C08AC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08AC2G is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body, with no lubricator. This configuration is sized for a G1/4 (1/4 in) port with G thread, carries a 40 um filter element for water and particulate removal, and drains condensate automatically, so the bowl empties itself during operation without manual attention. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), a round external gauge scaled in psi is fitted, and no reverse/check valve is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the 300-size bowl is PC (polycarbonate). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, G/NPT thread options, automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) filter grade option, gauge and scale choices, and bracket options. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding tool-change cylinders and clamping fixtures on a machining centre, with the automatic drain clearing condensate that collects overnight and during long production runs.
Conditioning the air that drives carton-forming and sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor, where a stable regulated pressure keeps stroke timing consistent and the 40 um element protects valve spools.
Point-of-use regulation and filtration for gripper and pick-and-place circuits on a robot cell, with the psi gauge giving operators a local reading at the panel and the bracket simplifying cabinet mounting.
Start with the port step: this unit is the 300 size at G1/4 (1/4 in). If your air consumption sits near the top of a 1/4 in line, step up to the 400 or 600 size rather than oversizing the regulator setting - and remember flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so let us check the curve against your demand before you order. On this model the drain is automatic; manual-drain versions widen the regulation range down to 0.05 MPa, while automatic and differential-pressure drains start at 0.15 MPa (20-130 psi here). The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify code W for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. Gauge scale is psi on this unit, with MPa and bar scales available, and the embedded square gauge is the standard alternative to this external round gauge. Thread is G here; PT is the standard and G/NPT are catalogue options to order. A bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number that is not in the datasheet. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curve for this G1/4, 300-size unit on request.
The A in the code means an automatic drain: condensate is expelled from the bowl during operation with no manual attention, which suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations. Manual-drain versions need periodic bleeding but widen the regulation range down to 0.05 MPa, and the default differential-pressure drain responds to the pressure drop across the element.
