The AirTAC GFR300C08AC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08AC2TK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This configuration has 1/4 in NPT ports, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without operator attention, standard 40 um filtration, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, a built-in reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulating range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is made in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes covering 1/8 in to 1 in ports, with a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and an optional reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machining cell, clamps and swing cylinders need air that is free of water and swarf and held at a steady setpoint so workholding force does not drift between cycles. This filter regulator cleans the supply, drains condensate automatically, and lets the setter dial in clamp pressure on the psi gauge.
Diverter and pusher cylinders on a parcel sortation line cycle thousands of times a shift. Feeding them through this 1/4 in NPT filter regulator keeps moisture and particles out of the valves and holds divert pressure stable along the line, with the check valve protecting the setting from upstream surges.
Form-fill-seal machines rely on consistent air pressure for jaw and film-tension cylinders. This unit filters the shop supply, regulates it to the pressure the packaging OEM specifies, and its automatic drain keeps condensate out of the seal station during long production runs.
Size the unit by the port and flow step: 200, 300, 400 and 600 correspond to increasing port sizes and flow capacity, so pick the size whose flow curve covers your worst-case air demand; this 300-size unit has 1/4 in NPT ports. Choose the drain to match your maintenance routine: automatic (this unit) handles condensate by itself, manual needs an operator, and differential-pressure drains only when the pressure drop is high enough. Filtration is 40 um standard; the W variant gives 5 um. Gauges are embedded square or external round, scaled in MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round psi gauge. PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are order options - this unit is NPT. A mounting bracket is included, and the reverse/check valve is fitted.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The A in the code means the bowl drains itself: collected condensate is ejected automatically, so the unit suits points that are not checked daily. A manual drain (M) needs an operator, and the default differential-pressure drain only discharges when the pressure drop across the element is high enough. All three work over the same 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) regulating range.
