The AirTAC GFR300C08AC3WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08AC3WTK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a steady regulated downstream pressure in one body. This 300-size unit is threaded 1/4 in NPT, carries the finer 5 um filter element (code W instead of the standard 40 um), drains condensate automatically, and is fitted with an external round gauge scaled in bar plus a reverse/check valve. The bowl on this size is polycarbonate, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. GFR filter regulators come in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge styles and scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and an optional check valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C non-freezing, and the regulation range with the automatic drain is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding spray guns on a paint line, where the 5 um element strips water and fine particulate before they can mark a finish, and the regulator holds the gun supply pressure steady across a shift. The automatic drain clears collected condensate without an operator visiting each station.
Supplying the cylinders and grippers on a carton packing conveyor, where a stable regulated pressure keeps repeat stroke behaviour consistent from the first cycle to the last. The 1/4 in NPT port suits compact valve and manifold plumbing at the machine frame.
Regulating the air to pneumatic clamps and tool-change actuators on a machining centre, where clean, moisture-reduced air protects the clamp valves and a set pressure keeps the clamping routine repeatable. The fitted check valve and included bracket simplify mounting the unit at the machine.
Work through the decodable choices in order. The 300 size with its 1/4 in port sets the physical connection: step up to 400 or 600 for larger ports, or down to 200 for smaller lines. Drain type is the next decision - automatic drain (this unit) vents condensate without daily attention, while manual and differential-pressure drains suit supervised installations. The 5 um element (W) is the finer option versus the standard 40 um; choose it where downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar - bar on this unit), thread (PT is the standard, G and NPT are order options) and bracket complete the picks. Because rated flow is published only as curves, send us your flow requirement and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, port size and required downstream flow, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet before you order.
The drain is how collected condensate leaves the bowl. This unit has an automatic drain (code A), which expels condensate on its own and suits unattended or hard-to-reach positions. Manual drain needs an operator to open it, and the differential-pressure drain (the default in the series) responds to the pressure drop across the element. If your installation is checked daily, a manual or differential drain on another GFR300 variant may suit you better.
