The AirTAC GFR300C08AF2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08AF2GK is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has a G1/4 (BSPP) port, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, a built-in reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the supply is lost, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR300 series is one of four sizes (200/300/400/600) with port options from 1/8 to 1 inch and PT, G or NPT threads; filter grade 5 um (code W), manual or differential-pressure drain, alternative gauge scales and a no-bracket option are available in the family. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated 1/4 in air supply for workholding clamps on a machining centre, with the check valve holding clamp pressure if the shop air drops.
Point-of-use air preparation for carton-sealing and diverting cylinders on a packaging conveyor, with automatic drain keeping condensate out of the valves.
Water and particle removal plus stable pressure setting for spray guns and air-assist nozzles at an individual booth station.
Size and port: the 300 body with a G1/4 port suits lines where 1/4 in air drops feed the actuators; step up to 400/600 or down to 200 if your flow demand differs - we check the published flow curves against your application before you order. Drain: this unit is automatic, ideal for unattended or hard-to-reach installations; manual (M) and differential-pressure (default) variants exist if you prefer controlled or zero-consumption draining. Filter grade: 40 um is the standard element here; specify W for 5 um where finer protection matters. Gauge: the embedded square gauge on this unit reads psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread: G is fitted as ordered, with PT standard and NPT available. A mounting bracket is included, and the K code confirms a reverse/check valve is fitted.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure that could mislead your sizing. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.
The A in the code means condensate collected in the bowl is discharged automatically, so the unit suits installations that run unattended. Manual (M) and differential-pressure (default, blank) drain versions are available in the same series if you prefer a different drainage behaviour.
