The AirTAC GFR300C08AF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4 5 um Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body, so one component cleans the air and holds a steady downstream pressure. This configuration is built around a G1/4 (BSPP) port in the size-300 body, with a fine 5 um filter element (code W) for applications that need cleaner air than the standard 40 um grade, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without anyone opening the bowl, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi so the set pressure is visible at a glance. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and the unit includes a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8" to 1", and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge scale, thread form (PT standard; G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so if you need a datasheet or a sizing check against your application, ask us and we will confirm the figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machine-tool air drop feeding tool changers, clamps and pneumatic gates, this unit filters machining-air moisture and fine particles down to 5 um and holds a steady regulated pressure to the actuators, with the automatic drain clearing condensate between shifts.
On a packaging or bottling line where conveyor stoppers, pushers and diverters run all day, the GFR300 cleans the supply air, keeps cylinder pressure stable so stroke timing stays repeatable, and the psi gauge lets the line technician verify the set point at a glance.
At the air inlet of a robotic welding cell, this filter regulator protects valves and weld-gun cylinders from water and fine contamination, the reverse/check valve holds downstream pressure if the main supply drops, and the bracket mounts the unit cleanly on the cell panel.
Start with the port step: sizes 200 to 600 step up in both port size and flow capacity, so pick the size whose port matches your air drop and whose flow curve covers your demand - we can check the curve against your consumption if you send the figures. This unit already carries the fine 5 um element (W); if your application tolerates coarser air, the standard 40 um grade costs less and loads more slowly. Drain type is a real choice: automatic drain (as fitted here) suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations, manual drain suits attended stations, and the differential-pressure default drains only when the element loads up. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge (MPa, psi or bar scale) or an optional external round gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order; brackets are optional on the family and included on this unit.
One honest note before you order: AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow figure. Send us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
This configuration carries code A, the automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate from the bowl without manual attention - useful for unattended cells. The GFR300 family is also available with manual drain (code M) or the differential-pressure drain (the default), which drains only when the element loads up. Note that the regulation range differs by drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic or differential-pressure drain, and 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual drain.
