The AirTAC GFR300C08AJF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08AJF3TK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, an automatic drain, a 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, a fitted reverse (check) valve, and no mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulation range for the automatic-drain version is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR300 is the size-300 member of AirTAC's G-series air-treatment line, with sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 covering larger ports and more flow, and options including manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), psi or MPa gauge scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and an optional mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm flow and datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use air prep on a machine-tool press or clamping circuit: the filter stage strips water and swarf carryover from the shop-air drop, and the regulator holds a steady setting to the cylinder valve while the gauge gives the operator a local pressure readout.
Feeding the divert, seal and pusher cylinders on a packaging conveyor line: one filter regulator per station keeps each actuator circuit supplied with clean, moisture-reduced air at its own set pressure, with the automatic drain handling condensate without operator attention.
Mounted at individual workshop air drops so each machine cell takes clean, regulated air from the shared compressor ring main: the 40 um element catches pipe-scale and particulate, and the check valve holds the drop's setting independently of its neighbours.
Choose the size by port and required flow: size 300 with a 1/4 in port suits compact circuits, while stepping up to size 400 or 600 gives a larger port and more flow. The choices decoded on this unit were: automatic drain (manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives), 40 um element (5 um available as code W), embedded square gauge scaled in bar (psi and MPa scales, and an external round gauge, are options), NPT thread (PT is the catalogue standard; G/BSPP is also available), a fitted reverse (check) valve, and no mounting bracket (brackets are optional). Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rating, so we cannot quote a rated number here - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm from the datasheet whether this unit is correctly sized for your application before you order.
Code A in this model sets an automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the bowl without manual attention. The GFR300 series is also available with a manual drain or the differential-pressure drain (the catalogue default). Note that the regulation range depends on drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for automatic and differential-pressure drains, and 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) for the manual-drain version.
