The AirTAC GFR300C08C2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08C2WT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a steady downstream pressure in a single body. This 300-size unit is threaded NPT1/4 (1/4 in), carries the 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), drains collected condensate by differential pressure, and is fitted with an external round gauge reading in psi. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options across drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard, G and NPT to order) and bracket. At this 300 size the bowl is polycarbonate (PC); only size 600 uses an aluminium alloy bowl. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the cylinders and clamps on a pneumatic assembly press, with the 5 um element protecting seals and valve surfaces from particulate and water carryover.
Mounted ahead of the diverters and pushers on a packaging conveyor, holding a steady downstream pressure while the differential-pressure drain bleeds off collected condensate during operation.
A wall-mounted drop at a plant maintenance bench, giving impact wrenches, ratchets and blow guns clean, pressure-adjusted air through the 1/4 in NPT outlet.
Size steps from 200 through 600 (1/8 in to 1 in ports), so choose the size whose flow curve covers your demand - we can confirm the curve figures on request because flow is published as curves, not a single rating. Drain choice is differential-pressure (as fitted here), automatic (A) or manual (M); filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code, which is what this model carries. For the gauge, an embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge is optional, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit has the round gauge in psi. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; a bracket is included, and the J code omits it.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM for this unit. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The W code selects the optional 5 um filter grade for finer particulate removal; the blank default on GFR units is 40 um. Both grades are catalogue options, and this particular configuration is built with the 5 um element.
