The AirTAC GFR300C08C3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08C3TK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air with its 40 um element, then regulates downstream pressure across the 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range. This configuration is sized for a 1/4 in NPT port, is fitted with a round pressure gauge reading in bar, includes a reverse/check valve to hold downstream pressure, comes with a mounting bracket, and uses the differential-pressure drain as standard, which bleeds condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the bowl is sufficient.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, optional 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or manual drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures for the series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding the press cylinders: the 40 um element keeps swarf and water out of the valve stack, the check valve holds the set pressure between strokes, and the bar gauge gives the operator a direct reading at the machine.
Point-of-use air prep for conveyor diverters and stopper cylinders on a packaging line, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate off the cylinders without a daily manual drain round.
Supplying filtered, pressure-controlled air to the jet and clamping circuits of textile machinery, with the 1/4 in NPT connection suited to compact machine-mounted drops and the bracket giving a solid panel fixing.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is the 300 size with a 1/4 in NPT port; larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow capacity. Decide the drain type: differential-pressure (this unit, automatic bleeding), fully automatic, or manual for a controlled drain point. Pick the filter grade: 40 um standard, or 5 um (code W) where finer particulate protection is needed. Select the gauge and its scale (MPa, psi or bar), the thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options), and whether a bracket is required; a reverse/check valve (code K, fitted here) is available where downstream pressure must be held. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the sizing for you before you order.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted, so downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply drops. The drain is the differential-pressure type (the blank drain code): condensate collected in the PC bowl is bled off automatically when the pressure differential across the bowl is sufficient, with no manual draining needed under normal duty.
