The AirTAC GFR300C08F1T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT1/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08F1T is a size 300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough, and an embedded square pressure gauge scaled in MPa. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of 40 um or 5 um (code W) filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and optional gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use preparation for the pneumatic circuits of a CNC machining centre - clamps, tool-change actuators and chip-clearing jets get filtered water-free air at a set, stable pressure right at the machine.
Feeding the cylinders and vacuum cups of a carton-sealing or case-packing conveyor line, where the 40 um element protects valves from scale and rust and the regulator holds a consistent setting shift after shift.
Conditioning shop air before it reaches lab analysers, sample-handling actuators or pneumatic test benches, where particulate and moisture must be stripped and pressure trimmed to the instrument's set point.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port, so match it to the line size and the air demand of the equipment it feeds - larger sizes (400, 600) carry larger ports and more flow. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (as fitted here) needs no attention, automatic drains continuously, and manual suits supervised points. Choose 40 um for general air preparation or the 5 um W element where finer filtration is needed. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are decodable choices, and a mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, we do not quote a rated flow number. Send us your application's air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR series flow as performance curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number for this unit. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of the equipment you are feeding, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
It is the thread option: T = NPT. PT is the standard thread for the GFR series, while G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options you order explicitly - so this unit arrives with 1/4 in NPT ports to match North American pipework and fittings.
