The AirTAC GFR300C08F2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4" PT, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08F2 is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is threaded PT1/4 (1/4 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and drains condensate by differential pressure, so the bowl self-drains as flow passes through rather than relying on a scheduled manual drain. Pressure is adjusted across 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) and read on the fitted square gauge scaled in psi, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, an optional 5 um element (code W), and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at a 1/4 in take-off from a factory compressed-air ring main, it cleans water and scale out of the supply and holds a steady regulated pressure to the downstream air tools and cylinders on that drop.
Feeding the pneumatic cylinders on a carton-sealing or case-packing conveyor, the 40 um element stops particulate reaching the valve seals while the regulator keeps the clamp and pusher pressures repeatable.
Mounted ahead of a test bench or assembly-station manifold, it gives the operator a psi-scaled gauge to set working pressure precisely while the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the bench circuit.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: the GFR300 with its PT1/4 port sits in the middle of the range, with 200 for lighter duty and 400/600 for larger ports and higher flow. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order. On this unit the drain is differential-pressure; automatic (code A) and manual (code M) versions exist if your maintenance routine prefers them. The 40 um element is standard and suits general plant air; specify 5 um (code W) where finer particulate removal matters. The fitted square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available, and an external round gauge is an option. PT thread is standard on this model, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options, and a mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a SCFM, l/min or Cv number on the product page. Tell us your application and operating pressure and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
Differential-pressure drain is the standard GFR300 drain: condensate is expelled from the bowl automatically as air flows through, with no operator action. If your line runs intermittently or you prefer scheduled draining, the same unit is available with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M) - ask us to quote the variant.
