The AirTAC GFR300C08F2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08F2WGK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint, all in one body. This configuration is a size 300 unit with a G1/4 (1/4 in) G-thread port, a 5 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, a standard regulator adjustable from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), a built-in reverse/check valve, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a mounting bracket included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options for thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options), drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of spray guns and air-assisted applicators: the 5 um element strips water and fine particulate that would otherwise fisheye a finish, while the regulator holds a steady set pressure at the gun.
Feeding cylinders and diverters on a packaging or cartoning line, where the reverse/check valve holds the downstream circuit if supply is interrupted and the gauge lets operators verify set pressure at a glance.
Supplying clamping cylinders on CNC fixtures and workholding, where consistent regulated pressure keeps holding force repeatable and the 5 um grade protects the clamp valves from fine contamination.
Size the unit to the flow your line needs: this is size 300 with a G1/4 port, one step up from the compact 200 series. The 5 um element (code W) gives finer filtration than the 40 um standard, which suits downstream valves and instruments; the differential-pressure drain bleeds collected water away as air flows through, with no manual draining routine to schedule. The embedded square gauge reads in psi, with MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge available as alternatives. Thread here is G; PT is the standard and G/NPT are order options, and the mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
The W in the code specifies the 5 um element; 40 um is the standard grade in the same family and can be ordered as an alternative. Choose 5 um where downstream valves and instruments need finer protection. The differential-pressure drain, regulation range and other settings are unchanged between grades.
